The recent installation of five Remeha boilers means efficient temperature-controlled heating and hot water is provided throughout the historic Derby Conference Centre. The combination of three Remeha Gas 310-9 ECO boilers and two Quinta 115 compact wall-mounted boilers now serves the 24 conference rooms and 50 en-suite bedrooms.

Constructed during the art deco period of the mid thirties as a school of transport, and later housing a section of the Royal Engineers during the Second World War, this elegant building has undergone a variety of structural transformations. In 1980, bedroom blocks were built and, in 1991, a specialist conferencing suite was added. Saved by English Heritage from threat of demolition, this prestigious site was awarded Grade II listed status in December 2005.

Both the Gas 310 ECO and the Quinta 115 are suitable for either new or retrofit situations. The 310 ECO boilers are compact lightweight units which may be mounted side by side, making them particularly suitable for modular installations. The Quinta Range consists of wall-hung condensing boilers designed for central heating and indirect hot water production. The pre-mix, down-firing gas burner, with its gas/air ratio control system, ensures clean, trouble free operation with higher than average efficiencies.
