Two Remeha Quinta 115 boilers were installed at the Tate Gallery in St Ives during phase one of a major refurbishment project. The 114kW condensing wall-hung boilers replaced older boilers in a rooftop plant room to heat the entire gallery. They were installed by County Heating of Bodmin who commented that they “had better flueing arrangements and were high output high efficiency”, in comparison to the previous boilers [Simon Matthews].

The Quinta 115 boilers are highly efficient (110% NCV at 40/30°C – 99% GVC), have ultra low NOx emissions and operate extremely quietly – making them an ideal heating solution for the gallery. Their quick and easy installation and space saving capabilities also meant minimum disruption.

The gallery occupies a spectacular site overlooking Porthmeor Beach, close to the home of Alfred Wallis and studios used by many artists whose works it exhibits. It is designed to show works of art in the surroundings and atmosphere in which they were created.

Remeha Commercial is proud to support the Tate Gallery.
