Remeha boilers keep it warm at Goodenough Club

The Goodenough Club, part of the educational charity Goodenough College, has upgraded its heating with Remeha Gas 210 Eco Pro replacement boilers. Contractors EMS recommended installing two Remeha Gas 210 4-section Eco Pro boilers to deliver reliable, energy-efficient heating and hot water throughout the historic Georgian building in Bloomsbury, London.

Mike Moolchan, Contracts Manager at EMS, commented:

“We offered this recommendation during design stages to the client as we have, over a number of years, installed a variety of Remeha boilers for all applications of heating and hot water plant. The recommendation was due to the reliability and efficiency of Remeha’s full range of boilers, competitive costs, delivery service and the professional and proactive after sales services provided.”

The Goodenough Club prides itself on the four-star accommodation it offers for alumni, guests, visiting families and conference delegates of Goodenough College, the postgraduate residence and educational trust in Bloomsbury, London. It was therefore essential that any downtime be kept to a minimum during the boiler replacement process in order to maintain the Club’s high level of service. Careful planning and strategic phasing of the installation played a key role in the smooth running of the project, minimising any disruption. Heating was not a priority in one of the hottest Julys on record, but the engineers were careful to ensure that hot water was available for showers in the morning, afternoon and evening.

This is the second Remeha installation for the Charity, following a recent boiler replacement at Goodenough College.

The Remeha Gas 210 Eco Pro Range offer high efficiencies and ultra-low carbon and NOx emissions for energy-saving, environmentally-friendly heating and hot water delivery. The small footprint and ability to be installed back to back makes them ideally suited for modular configurations.
