Liverpool’s iconic St George’s Hall, one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world, needed to refurbish the heating system in its North plant room.

Liverpool City Council’s requirements were to improve the reliability and energy efficiency of the heating provision and to standardise the heating equipment for more efficient maintenance and operation.

The high performance and easy maintenance of the Remeha boilers already installed in the South plant room had impressed the Council, as had Remeha’s high quality service.

Mr Black commented: “Remeha boilers are popular with our engineers as they are easy to install and maintain, and outstandingly reliable. The support we have received from the Remeha service team has been equally impressive as they are always at hand to answer any queries we might have.”

With all Remeha boilers now fully operational throughout St George’s Hall, Liverpool City Council can anticipate future energy savings in the region of 30 per cent and a correspondingly smaller carbon footprint. Add to this the reduction in maintenance costs from the standardised heating, and the new Remeha boilers represent a major step forward in efficiency savings for Liverpool City Council.
